New Clerk of Juvenile Court


Please take a moment to welcome Elizabeth “Liz” Adams, the new Clerk of Juvenile Court!  Liz will be starting on September 1st.

 

Liz currently is a supervisor with Juvenile Court Operations in Milwaukee where she has spent the last two years overseeing the state permanency contract between the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and Milwaukee County and managed, directed, trained and supervised the permanency hearing staff.  She has 8 years of experience in total with Milwaukee County, including five years working as a deputy court clerk  for Judges Tim Witkowiak and Laura Crivello.  She has worked in a variety of court settings, including intake, preliminary  hearing, misdemeanor, domestic violence, general felony, felony drug, deferred prosecution, homicide/sexual assault, large claim civil, juvenile intake, child in need of protective services, permanency plan, juvenile delinquency and TPR. Liz also has 7 years of experience in the private sector as a paralegal prior to that.

 

Liz earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh and a paralegal certificate from MATC.  Liz and her husband reside in Sussex and have one son.
