Important WCBA Meeting March 10th at Noon

WCBA Board Considering Dues Increase

Please read this important message.

Message and Agenda from President Aaron Hall

Dear WCBA Members:

For the past several months the Board of Directors (the “Board”) for the Waukesha County Bar Association (“WCBA”) has been considering an increase in the annual membership dues. The genesis of this inquiry has been whether the WCBA can sustain itself if we take no action relative to dues. As part of this discussion, we have contacted other local bar associations to determine if our dues were commensurate. After this undertaking, we determined that the WCBA dues are lower than most other associations. This should not come as a surprise since the WCBA has not raised its dues in 15 years.

The purpose of this email is to inform you that the WCBA Board is going to have a town hall type discussion on the issue of increasing the dues at our next Board meeting, which is Monday, March 10, 2025 at noon, via Zoom. All WCBA members are welcome to attend via Zoom and to weigh-in on this important issue. At the conclusion of the discussion, the Board will vote on whether there should be an increase and in what amount.

Thank you,

Aaron E. Hall

President, Waukesha County Bar Association
