Waukesha County Courthouse Closed 3-16-2026


County Executive Paul Farrow has announced that Waukesha County facilities will be closed March 16, 2026, due to weather emergency.  Click HERE to view the Order temporarily closing the Waukesha County Courthouse on March 16, 2026 signed by Presiding Judge Ralph M. Ramirez.

 

Based on this decision, all calendars will be rescheduled with the exception of the essential hearings below:

 

  • Lockups = The duty judge will handle these similar to the Riversides done on the weekends and holidays.
  • Mental Commitments = If an emergency detention hearing is needed it will be held at the normal time (11:00am) via zoom.  The hearing will be conducted with the juvenile judge and their court reporter (vs the commissioner).
  • Juvenile Detentions = If a TPC is needed when the courthouse is closed it will be held at the normal time (at 1:30pm) via zoom.  The hearing will be conducted with the juvenile judge and their court reporter (vs the commissioner).
